The pursuit of power often has a negative connotation in the world in which we live. Far too often it is associated with corruption, greed and narcissism. When such a weapon is used for the purposes of subjugation it becomes the hand of evil. When wielded by a benevolent bearer it is a catalyst for hope, peace and prosperity. In this song I imagine a world where the incarnation of a benevolent deity is possible. |

Contrary to what it may seem this song is not about running away from
everything and leaving somewhere. It is about spiritual liberation from
things which we would prefer not to allow in our experience. It is about
having the freedom to choose what we are and are not subjected to. It is also about love and the power it has to achieve such an escape. Perhaps my true love is listening and if you are this song is for you. |

This song is about everything
and nothing, the start, the end, but its not really about that at all.
What is there to say? Its either something you understand or don't and
its kind of impossible to clarify such beliefs not based in rational thought per se. Its a beautiful story of love and triumph and describes the awakening of a being of light. My introduction poem for this song seems quite vague and strange, it is meant to be this way. The discerning listener will notice the subtle references to Christian theology and folklore. |
As humans we are all creatures of habit by nature and this plays an important part in all of our lives despite what some might want to think. We seem to be predisposed to be negatively inclined towards things that are new and perhaps there is no better an illustration of this phenomenon than when it comes to musicians. Basically when you first go somewhere and pick up your instrument everyone expects you to suck. It is almost a tangible aura like a wall of ice that must be broken through. Such is the struggle of all musicians. |

Fallen Angel
fuck your status | This is a love song. It is not about anyone in particular but it also is in a way. Only she would be able to know and I'm not saying anything more about that. This one starts off very melodically with a sweet tone and goes into a minor part which amps up a bit before transitioning back into the chorus. The format of this song is strange since the chorus comes first and there is only one verse and one bridge. Although you could just call any part anything, anyways I love this song and I hope you all do too |
This song is satire and it is not meant to be taken seriously so if you do that its on you. This song jokingly describes the extreme version of an attitude and then tears that attitude down in an equally extreme way. I feel its possible that some people could take an issue with the line 'your shit is gay" and I want to make it clear that this is in no way an attempt to be bigoted towards or slander homosexuals in any way. In the context in which it is used in the lyrics of this song the definition of the word gay is different. Listen and laugh cause that is what this song is meant for. |
